The online credit application is the form that gets you an actual financing decision. People sometimes hesitate before starting it, usually over what it asks for and what happens with the information once it’s submitted.
Here’s the plain version: what the form collects, how it’s read, and what to expect once you hit submit.
What the form asks for
The application collects four kinds of information: proof of income, valid identification, your residence history, and your employment history. It also asks for your Social Security Number, because an actual financing decision genuinely requires it.
About that number, since it’s the part people hesitate on: the application sends your information to our financing system, and this site itself never stores your Social Security Number. It passes through to the people making the decision; it doesn’t sit in a website database.
Yes, it involves a credit check
Submitting the application authorizes a credit check. That’s a normal part of any real financing decision, and there’s no honest way around it - a lender that doesn’t look at credit at all isn’t making a real underwriting decision.
What’s different is what the check is weighed against. It’s one input, not the whole answer.
We look at more than the score
You don’t need perfect credit to apply. We look at overall creditworthiness instead of relying solely on past credit issues, which in practice means income, stability, and the down payment carry real weight alongside the credit file.
That’s the difference between a dealership carrying its own note and a bank pricing a loan off a score alone. The in-house financing guide covers why that works the way it does, and the bad credit guide covers what strengthens an application specifically.
What happens after you submit
A representative from the dealership will contact you shortly. That’s not a brush-off line - a person reads your application and calls or emails to talk through the vehicle, the down payment, and the next steps.
From there it’s a normal deal conversation. Financing is subject to approval, and terms vary by vehicle and applicant, so nothing is final until you’ve seen the numbers in writing and signed them.
Applying doesn’t commit you to buying
Filling out the application is information gathering, not a handshake. If the terms don’t suit you, say so. If the timing is wrong, tell us that too and check back when the inventory turns over - it changes as vehicles sell. And if forms aren’t your speed at all, the phone still works: 325-480-2444, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturdays by appointment.
